Jenny Case Music Studio
Jenny Case has been a professional music instructor for over 25 years. In 1992, she began teaching guitar & piano lessons at Minnetonka Music in Excelsior and has since taught a variety of instruments at many music stores, camps and schools such as Harmon's Music Shop, Sound Sisters, Dayjams, Bern's Music, St Louis Park School District, Music On The Go, La Petite Academy, and the St Paul & Eden Prairie School of Rock.
Growing up listening to all types of rock music, Jenny noticed a lack of female musicians present in the music industry; especially electric guitar & bass players, drummers and in behind-the-scenes roles such as sound techs and audio production. Hoping to encourage the next generation of female rockers, she founded MN's first rock camp for girls in 2007, Girls Rock N Roll Retreat (G.R.R.R.). GRRR has been successfully changing the way girls, nonbinary and trans youth between the ages of 9-18 view themselves and the music industry for the past thirteen years, and teaching them how to ROCK!!! GRRR is currently in the planning stages for year #13 and is gearing up for their eighth Women's Rock Camp! For more information, check out the She Rock She Rock website.
Jenny currently teaches at her home studio in St Louis Park and Lake Harriet House of Music in S. Mpls. She offers lessons in:
* Electric Bass
*Piano & Keyboard
*Recording (Garageband, Logic, ProTools)
